What is Addiction?
Addiction is:
A primary, chronic disease where a person is unable to stop using alcohol and/or other drugs despite repeated negative consequences.
    If left untreated, the disease will progress and may result in death.
Blame the Doctor?
“My doctor said that a little red wine is good for my heart.”
“Oh, I thought you meant don’t take any more during the day because they might make me drowsy.  I didn’t know you meant don’t take any more, including at night.”
“My doctor told me not to drink with my blood pressure medication so I stopped taking it.”
