Greenbriar Treatment Center now offers Long Term Residential options at our location in Waynesburg, PA. Long Term Residential treatment used to be referred to as a 3C program. If you, or someone you know has an alcohol or drug addiction problem and experienced severe social, financial, occupational, and/or educational problems, let us help. Greenbriar’s Long Term Residential program utilizes individual and group therapy covering social, occupational, financial, and educational symptoms while simultaneously helping our patients overcome addiction.
The Long Term Residential program focuses on promoting self-care with the goal to permanently improve daily living and re-integration into society. The length of stay (LOS) for this program is up to 100 days. This longer length of stay allows patients to establish a solid foundation for greater success when they re-enter back into their everyday life. Our ultimate goal for the Long Term Residential Program is Habilitation – learning new skills to support a sober way of life. Patients in this program can also use all levels of services offered by the Greenbriar Treatment Center.
The location for the Long Term Residential program is 350 Bonar Ave, Waynesburg, PA 15370. We are located inside the Washington Health System Greene Hospital.
In addition to basic need for chemical dependency treatment:

Our Areas of Expertise
Greenbriar has a brand new, sate-of-the-art detox facility to treat up to 14 patients in a beautiful, quiet, medically safe environment. The detox program is conveniently located on the grounds of our Inpatient facility. Detoxification can last from 3-7 days depending on the medical needs of our patients. Heroin, Alcohol, and Prescription Pills are a few of the drugs that may require detox prior to being transferred to an Inpatient level of care.
Greenbriar Treatment Center has been treating addiction since 1985. Located in Washington County, our Inpatient facility is licensed for Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Treatment. Our Inpatient program can provide quality care for up to 62 patients at any given time.
Day Partial and Intensive Outpatient
Greenbriar has seven Outpatient sites throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Each Outpatientt facility offers Day Partial and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. Several sites offer Evening treatment to accommodate the needs of our patients.
The Lighthouse for Men and the Lighthouse for Women are gender specific halfway houses located in Washington County. Both are licensed for Co-Occurring treatment. Each facility can treat up to 25 patients in a safe and home-like environment.
