Medications for Substance Use Disorders
For individuals with a history of alcohol or opioid use, treatment may include the use of medication during detox or long-term recovery. Greenbriar’s treatment protocol includes education on available FDA-Approved medication options in conjunction with continued counseling. Clinicians at Greenbriar Treatment Center will assist you in determining if medication is appropriate for your recovery.
Addiction affects the entire family. Greenbriar’s family education program offers education and support to help family members and loved ones begin to heal from the impact of drug and alcohol addiction. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the disease of addiction, what to expect during their loved one’s recovery process. Greenbriar Treatment Center recognizes the importance of family participation in the recovery process, which is why we offer family programming at every level of care. Family programming takes place.
Relapse prevention is a critical component of a strong recovery program. We offer specialized relapse prevention groups to assist patients in developing preventative skills to maintain their recovery. Our clinicians will work with you to develop and implement an individualized relapse prevention plan prior to completion of treatment.
