At Greenbriar Treatment Center, we approach each case medically and psychologically. We utilize the twelve step system throughout the recovery process which may include detoxification, inpatient, and outpatient therapy.


Recovery from drugs and alcohol is something individuals have to work at for their entire lives. Greenbriar Treatment Center wants to provide the support, education, and recourse to arm our clients with the best chance for long term recovery.


Recovery is often a challenging process, but most individuals who are in long term recovery say that it is absolutely worth the challenge. At Greenbriar Treatment Center, we are here to make the transition to a sober lifestyle easy and long lasting. There is always hope.

Our Areas of Expertise

Greenbriar has a brand new, sate-of-the-art detox facility to treat up to 14 patients in a beautiful, quiet, medically safe environment. The detox program is conveniently located on the grounds of our Inpatient facility. Detoxification can last from 3-7 days depending on the medical needs of our patients. Heroin, Alcohol, and Prescription Pills are a few of the drugs that may require detox prior to being transferred to an Inpatient level of care.

Inpatient Rehab


Greenbriar Treatment Center has been treating addiction since 1985. Located in Washington County, our Inpatient facility is licensed for Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Treatment. Our Inpatient program can provide quality care for up to 62 patients at any given time.

Day Partial and Intensive Outpatient


Greenbriar has seven Outpatient sites throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Each Outpatientt facility offers Day Partial and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. Several sites offer Evening treatment to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Halfway House


The Lighthouse for Men and the Lighthouse for Women are gender specific halfway houses located in Washington County. Both are licensed for Co-Occurring treatment. Each facility can treat up to 25 patients in a safe and home-like environment.
